Job summary

We are looking for motivated individuals to join our Facilities Services Team as a Porter/Facilities Assistant at John Eastwood Hospice, who are responsible for all our patient and non patient areas.

This role also includes serving of food to patients at meal times.

Previous experience of working within a Domestic, Cleaning, Catering environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.

Main duties of the job

We have two 20 hour posts, working Monday to Friday only

09:30 - 13:30 or 12:30 - 16:30

These positions are not required to work on Weekends and Bank Holidays but there may be occasions where there may be a requirement to cover shifts on these days.

The ability to work effectively and flexibly, both alone and as part of a team, maintaining a high standard of work will be essential.

We have in-house training to help your personal development plans and will support you with all of your training needs.
