Job summary
The post holder will provide a clerical service within the Data Team and supporting the Family Nurse Partnership and Best Start Plus Nursing Teams.
They will support the data team's day to day operational function, with a focus on performance, audit, data entry, information extraction from electronic patient records and quality assurance. They will provide administrative support to enable timely review of data and submissions to the General Manager and the wider teams.
Main duties of the job
To carry out all aspects of clerical and administrative support.
Responsible for all aspects of data entry, emails, typing of appointment letters, telephone communication with external agencies, healthcare professionals and patients. Processing patient related spreadsheets and computer systems.

Checking accuracy of data received by referring agencies before inputting into patient electronic systems.
Word process correspondence as required including letters, tasks and helping to collate reports.
To input, update and process information onto computer systems in a timely way (including Electronic Patient Records e.g. SystmOne) ensuring that information is entered in to systems correctly.
To receive and make internal and external telephone calls to staff, service users, members of the public and external agencies ensuring messages received are appropriately signposted and actioned.
Identify health and safety practices that are appropriate to self and others.
Filing and photocopying, scan and attaching documents.
To participate in appropriate training courses and updates in accordance with mandatory requirements and undertake a personal development plan.
To work as a team to provide cover for sickness and annual leave as to support the demands of the service.
To work effectively both independently and as a team member to ensure that the Data Team achieves their set goals and targets linked to data collection.
