Job summary

We are looking for 8 Kitchen Assistants split between 2 wards.

Positions available are: 2 x 20 and 6 x 16hrs hours per week to work weekly rota this will include some weekends and bank holidays.

Main duties of the job

To provide a catering service to patients on the ward within Blossomwood.

Serving food, drinks and snacks whilst maintaining high standards of cleaning within the ward kitchens.

To ensure high standards of customer service and catering services. The completion of all relevant paperwork in line with Trust policies and procedures.

To serve/ support patients to access breakfast, lunch and Dinner. To serve/ support patients to access drinks and snacks.

To ensure that kitchen and servery areas are cleaned

To record and audit to IPC requirements such as fridge temperature checks. Labelling food in fridges and removing out of date food. Stock checking and support environment co-ordinator.

Patients will be older adults in mental health services suffering with illness such as Depression, psychosis and dementia.

Please note this post does not meetskilllevel required for a Skilled worker visa.
