Job summary

This post is eligible for a Golden Hello payment of £2,750 for new starters who are external to the Trust. This is payable in 3 instalments over a 2 year period. This payment is only eligible to new starters who do not already hold a contract of employment with the Trust and have not been an employee of the Trust in the previous 3 years. This post also includes paid enhancements for unsocial hours working during night, weekends and bank holidays.

The Mental Health division of Nottinghamshire Healthcare Foundation Trust comprises of three directorates; Adult Mental Health, Mental Health Services for Older People and Specialist Services. Main duties of the job

As a Band 5 Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioner, your main duties will be:

To work alongside service users, families, carers and multi-disciplinary team members to co-ordinate care and support collaborative decision making about care and treatment.

To deliver a set of wellbeing-focused psychologically-informed interventions, aligned to cognitive-behavioural principles, based on the best evidence available, that address problems often experienced by people with severe mental health problems.

To work under close case management supervision from a suitably qualified professional to provide high quality collaborative care planning as a member of the multi-disciplinary team.

To work under close clinical skills supervision from an HCPC registered clinical psychologist or BABCP accredited cognitive behavioural therapist to provide specified psychologically-informed wellbeing-focused interventions.
