Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an established and innovative research delivery team based in Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. This full-time permanent post requires the successful applicant to assist in the delivery of a range of studies that reflect the services provided by the Trust. The post-holder will hold an NVQ Level 3 in a health care discipline, plus additional training/experience to diploma level equivalent. They will be highly motivated, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work sensitively and professionally with research participants, families, colleagues and clinicians. Experience in project management would be considered an advantage.
The role will be predominantly office based, supporting the administrative activity of the studies but there may be some opportunity to support participant visits depending on the studies on the portfolio.

Main duties of the job
Contributing to the safe and efficient delivery of research within the Trust and in other organisations as required, within time and to target.
Assisting in the maintenance of research data and study files.
Liaising with clinicians to facilitate research delivery within clinical areas, home settings and other organisations as required.
Assisting in identifying appropriate participants for research studies and supporting recruitment according to Good Clinical Practice guidelines.
Conducting or assisting with other research activities within scope of practice and/or for which they have been appropriately trained.
