Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the EPRR Team at Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS FT for an Admin Officer looking to join a small, dynamic team of colleagues to deliver an effective Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response (EPRR) service across all Trust sites.

The post holder will need to demonstrate skills in all areas of administrative functions, have good communication skills, flexibility, reliability, along with an organised approach to their work.

An understanding of the NHS and Emergency Planning is desirable but not essential.

Main duties of the job

The main duty of the role is to provide a comprehensive administrative support to the EPRR Team to ensure the provision of a high-quality co-ordinated service.

The post holder should be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages, have excellent organisational and time management skills and experience of working without supervision.

The post holder will be required to facilitate and minute meetings as and when required for the team, undertaking associated duties as required.

The post holder will provide administrative support to assist the team with the delivery of the Trusts EPRR training and exercise programme, including the maintenance of the training database, act as a point of contact for bookings, and review training compliance.

We are looking for someone who is able to maintain good working relationships and work as an effective team member, to ensure their own work is of a high standard and to share the day to day workload of the team.

The team provides support to staff that respond to emergencies and constantly stay up to date with partner agencies to ensure the organisations are respond effectively in an emergency or service disruption.

Essential

  • Educated to NVQ 4 or BTEC standent level of experience and knowledgeard in an administration or equival
  • Typing/word process qualification to RSA/OCR111 standard or equivalent skill level
  • GCSE in English Language and Maths or equivalenth standard.

Desirable

  • EPRR or Business Continuity Experience

Training

Essential

  • Trained Loggist or willing to work towards in pos
  • Prepared to undertake any relevant and necessary internal and external training.
