Job summary
We are looking for a Chef to join our Catering Team at The Wells Road Hospital. If you are someone who is hardworking and energetic with a passion for delivering quality freshly cooked, healthy, wholesome food to our patients, staff and visitors then we would love to hear from you.
We have a position available working 6 hours a day, 30 hours a week (including working weekends and bank holidays). Shifts are between 7:00am and 6:30pm, the pattern will be discussed at interview.
Main duties of the job
To be responsible for the provision of the patient, staff or visitors meals by undertaking specific outlined and approved processes and procedures to ensure the quality and food safety of meals at service are safe and appropriate and within the guidelines of food hygienelegislation.
This post is eligible for a Golden Hello payment of £2,750 for new starters who are external to the Trust. This is payable in 3 instalments over a 2 year period. This payment is only eligible to new starters who do not already hold a contract of employment with the Trust. This post also includes paid enhancements for unsocial hours working during night, weekends and bank holidays.
