An opportunity has arisen for a Healthcare Support Worker to join the Sherwood Community Nursing Team who provide a high standard of care to patients in Edwinstowe, Rainworth and surrounding area.
You will join a highly supportive team that is dedicated to your growth and development. As part of our commitment to your professional advancement, we offer the National Care Certificate Programme for individuals in bands 2-4, providing you with extensive learning opportunities. Additionally, we provide an apprenticeship pathway that enables you to progress to the role of a Registered Nurse Associate at Band 4 level and a further top up to registered nurse. These comprehensive pathways ensure that you have the necessary support and resources to flourish in your Community Nursing career.
Main duties of the job

You will work under the direction of qualified District and Community Nurses to be part of a team to deliver nursing interventions to people in their own homes and Residential Homes.
The roles require individuals to have good communication skills to ensure close working relationships with acute care services, Community care teams, General Practitioners, Social Care teams and other multidisciplinary teams.
We will provide you with a structured induction and training period to ensure you have the opportunity to develop new skills and competence.

Some of our bases provide easy access to the M1 between junctions 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, and 30. During your days off, explore nearby Sherwood Forest, the legendary home of Robin Hood, or Immerse yourself in the vibrant and dynamic atmosphere of Nottingham City and the many other attractions of Nottinghamshire.
Join us full-time or part-time, in a substantive position. Our service operates from 8am to 8pm, seven days a week, offering flexibility in working hours. An additional team of Nurses and HCAs offer a robust, reactive evening and night Nursing team.
