Job summary
TheForensic Services Head AHP will be part of Rampton Hospitals senior leadership team, working closely with members of this team. The post holder will provide professional leadership and guidance, role modelling high professional standards and leading by example.The post holder will spend time across the Forensic Care Group. The post holder will promote a culture of learning and cohesion across diverse teams, and align Trust and NHS AHPs Deliver strategic aims. The post will demonstrate the impact and added value of AHP Senior leadership on:
- AHP workforce- improved recruitment, retention, and talent management
- AHP practice - greater understanding of enhanced, extended scope, advanced, multi-professional practice.
- Quality and governance, underpinned by AHP professional guidance
- Effectiveness and outcomes of multi-professional care and treatment - including reasonable adjustments for sensory practice, communication access, meaningful occupations and activities and movement.
- Improved patient experience and involvement
- Greater AHP engagement- inspiring, collaborating and connecting AHPs across services
- Greater awareness across the Forensic Services Care Group, about the need to utilise the full transformative power of AHPs to optimise care
Main duties of the job
To provide AHP and clinical leadership across the Forensic Care Group, and to work with the wider Senior Management group forming part of Rampton Hospitals Care unit Management.
To provide professional leadership and support to AHP services in the Forensic Care Group, work with General Managers within medium and low secure services, whilst directly line managing the AHP Managers within high secure services.
You will define the professional models to be used within the Care Group, and with support of AHP uni-professional clinical leads provide a service based in best practice, that provides the very best care to our patients.
