BANK HEALTHCARE ASSISTANT | £11.85 per hour (Inclusive of High Secure Allowance)
We are the only hospital in the country to provide high secure care to patients who are women, who are deaf or who have Learning Disabilities, alongside our Mental Health and Personality Disorder treatment pathways.
Main duties of the job
Participate as a member of the nursing team in delivering appropriate care packages with other disciplines as required within a secure environment working within well established procedures, carrying out care duties with supervision available and close by.

As a Healthcare Assistant you will be:
- Providing and maintaining a high standard of care, facilitating therapeutic / meaningful activities for patients on the ward.
- Involved in escorting patients on out of grounds visits
- Liaising closely with other health and social care professionals as well as patients, relatives, and carers.
- Undertaking, record, and report clinical observations as directed by registered staff.
- Always act in a manner to promote and safeguard the interests and wellbeing of patients.
- Actively promote a responsible caring attitude at all times, treating all patients with dignity and respect.
