Main duties of the job
The Head of Business and Operations is a key role that will support the Hospital in the day to day leadership of services across the Directorate. You will be a vital member of the Senior Leadership Team, supporting the Business, operational and performance requirements and development of services and its staff to ensure we provide the highest quality of services for patients and carers.
You will provide management and leadership to the Directorate involving all areas of operational activity, overall strategic support to the General Manager and deliver programmes of service development and improvement.You will support and strengthen partnership working and collaborative integration with partnership agencies.
You will need to have broad and credible operational skills, knowledge and experience and have evidence of delivering success, with a commitment to hands on, visible leadership and a 'can do', energetic approach, whilst remaining calm and measured.
