Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity for the role of Personal Assistant to a small leadership team that sits within the Trust's Senior Nursing, AHP & Quality team. We are looking for an experienced administrator looking for a varied, interesting new challenge to develop systems and functions to support our team, reporting to the Associate Director for Allied Health Professionals (AHPs).

The post requires excellent organisational skills, and the ideal post holder should be adaptable and flexible. They should be experienced in prioritisation, IT and skilled in minute taking, compiling action plans and papers for agendas, along with experience of diary management.

You will need a strong awareness of confidentiality and information governance pertaining to both patients and staff as well as experience in the wider administrative requirements of the service.

It would be advantageous if the successful person had a level of event co-ordination experience, intranet coordination and the ability to juggle the demands of a busy and varied portfolio of work for themselves and the team.

This post is available for full time hours (up to 37.5 hours) although part time hours / flexible working will also be considered.

Main duties of the job

This position is a varied role, with extensive diary management, maintenance of information and taking minutes at high level meetings internal and external to the organisation.

The post holder will have exemplary communication skills to adapt to a range of roles and bands across different professions in and outside of the Trust. They will be expected to work using their own initiative and have and good problem-solving skills.

  • RSA/OCR III Word Processing (or equivalent);
  • NVQ Level 3 or significant experience working to senior management
