Job summary
A fantastic opportunity to join one of the country's most digitally advanced NHS Trusts as a Systems Engineer has arisen. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who has the enthusiasm and ability to work in a challenging but equally rewarding Digital Services Department. Working in the third line Systems Team you will be focused on ensuring the resolution of advanced, complex issues that might arise from our core desktops, server applications and systems infrastructure, hardware and software, both on premise and in Azure. The post will also provide technical support, advice & recommendations on the design, implementation and support for new and existing systems.
Main duties of the job
You will have significant experience at a third line Systems Engineer level and in an enterprise IT support environment. This should include experience of providing diverse services within a large multi-faced, multi-site organisation.
There will be an initial focus on user and data lifecycles. This includes administration of (Azure) Active Directory, Group Policies, Exchange on premise/online and more. You will be working on both design, implementation and support of these services.
You will have IT support experience with a thorough understanding of Microsoft operating systems. Excellent knowledge of scripting & development languages skills (e.g. PowerShell) are essential.
