An exciting opportunity has arisen within The Early Intervention in Psychosis Service (EIP) of Nottinghamshire Healthcare Foundation NHS Trust for a passionate and highly motivatedClinical Lead (Band 7)from either aMental Health Nursing, Occupational TherapyorSocial Workbackground to join our team
The EIP service in Nottinghamshire is delivered through a multidisciplinary team of practitioners who provide comprehensive assessments and evidence-based treatments for people aged 14-65 who are experiencing a First Episode Psychosis (FEP) or an At Risk Mental State (ARMS) for the development of psychosis.
Working in collaboration with the Team Leader, the post holder will be responsible for leading, monitoring and evaluating the clinical practice of the team driving towards clinical excellence. You will provide and oversee clinical supervision and support the multi-disciplinary team to ensure the delivery of high quality and safe patient centred care.
Main duties of the job
- To provide a defined level of specialist assessment (CAARMS) and access to interventions for a diverse patient group and their families under the care programme approach, who present with significant mental health problems
- The post holder will be expected to be part of the EIP management team and the senior hub groupthat will lead and continually review and develop the EIP pathways of care across the AMH community mental health teams, inpatient and crisis services. Will haveoversight over ongoing governance of interventions, access times and evidence-based practice in correlation with access and waiting time standard and measured as part of the NCAP audit
- To lead on service transformation, evolution of FEP and ARMS pathway, interventions (for example Feeling Safe Programme), support and lead the development of EIP pathway of care across the inpatient and community mental health teams to embed and implement new ways of working.
