Are you an experienced cardiac nurse looking to progress your career?
Due to retirement, we are looking to recruit a knowledgeable, compassionate cardiology nurse with at least 2 years' experience of working in CCU or a cardiology ward to join our small team of clinical nurse specialists providing care, follow-up and cardiac rehabilitation to patients with a variety of cardiac conditions.
This is planned as a developmental role with a view to the successful applicant undertaking the Physical Assessment and Clinical Reasoning (PACR) course when appropriate and subsequently training to qualify as a Non-Medical Prescriber.

This role involves providing high-standard nursing care to patients post-cardiac events, developing individual care plans, and delivering patient education. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and be expected to develop an excellent knowledge base required to work autonomously within the speciality. Experience and/or a keen interest and understanding in the rehabilitation of cardiac patients and of those with chronic conditions is essential. The successful candidate will be organised, a good team player and have time management skills to work under pressure alongside other members of the team.
