This opportunity is for a Staff Nurse to come and join us on Sheppard Ward at Musgrove Park.
We are looking for a compassionate, motivated, and enthusiastic Band 5 Staff Nurse to join our committed team on Sheppard Ward, a supportive and dynamic ward specialising in Care of the Elderly. Our patients present with a range of acute and complex medical needs, offering an excellent opportunity to develop your clinical skills in a rewarding environment.
As a Band 5 Nurse on Sheppard Ward, you will play an essential role in delivering safe, effective, and personcentred care. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team, contribute to assessments, implement individualised care plans, support early discharge planning, and promote a positive patient experience.

Main duties of the job
To provide and maintain a high standard of evidence based, patient centred care. To demonstrate good interpersonal skills and to develop practical skills required within the speciality, whist reflecting the philosophy of care.To deliver patient care on a daily basis, using the systems in place in the department for a multi-disciplinary approach to patient-centred care delivery, which builds on the philosophy of greater involvement of patients and their relatives/carers by using the Trusts patient and public involvement strategy.Experienced Band 5 post holders will also provide effective clinical and managerial leadership of the department, in the absence of the senior members of the team, which empowers staff to deliver patient- centred, evidence based nursing care
