Job summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Breast Radiologist to join our dynamic and high performing unit. The successful candidate will demonstrate and maintain an excellent standard of breast radiology practice, supported by strong communication skills and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high quality symptomatic breast imaging
* Participate in onestop clinics and follow up imaging pathways
* Provide xray guidance during interventional and localisation procedures
* Maintain a proactive approach to Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
* Contribute positively to a busy, collaborative clinical environment
About YouYou will be a skilled breast radiologist with the capability to work effectively in a fast paced unit, showing professionalism, accuracy, and a patient centred approach throughout all aspects of your work.
Main duties of the job
To provide a breast radiology service in a timely and professional manner
To contribute to the overall smooth running of the Maple Unit by taking responsibility for specific, delegated duties and by identifying areas for improvement and development and bringing these to the attention of the Lead Consultant Radiographer.
To maintain high standards in Quality Assurance as required by the National Health Service Breast Screening Programme.
