Job summary

An exciting new opportunity has arrived at Musgrove Park Hospital!

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, self-motivated and with good communication and interpersonal skills to join our Outpatient Pharmacy team at Musgrove Park Hospital.

The Outpatient Pharmacy will be opened Monday - Friday 9AM till 6PM, the pharmacy will not be opened on the weekends!

Main duties of the job

As a Pharmacy Dispenser, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our dispensary. You'll tailor conversations with every customer to help them feel informed and confident about their healthcare needs, while maintaining a professional and organised environment.

You'll be responsible for:

• Dispensing outpatient and blister pack prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
• Managing stock, including rotation and ordering, and liaising with procurement teams..
• Ensuring compliance with SSL policies and standard operating procedures.
