Job summary

Are you an excellent team player looking for a new experience? The Bridgwater and North Sedgemoor Integrated Team are looking for an Integrated Administrator to join our team.

This role will require regular working in the Bridgwater and North Sedgemoor Neighbourhood Hubs between the hours of 8am to 6pm, 5 days per week. The hub also provides twilight cover on Tuesdays (until 10PM) and every other Saturday currently (8-4PM) to the hub. You will be based at Bridgwater Community Hospital and Peter Holmes Annex, War Memorial Hospital and there will be an expectation for you to travel to any of our locations within the Bridgwater and North Sedgemoor Neighbourhood Service as required on occasion, e.g. Cheddar Medical Centre & The Mulberry Centre. Therefore, you must be a car driver with a valid full UK driving licence.

Main duties of the job

You will provide effective and varied administrative support to our Neighbourhood colleagues and support the overall smooth running of the team. You will work in our Single Point of Access Hub taking calls and handling emails from external stakeholders and support our internal colleagues with administrative tasks. This is a fast-paced team that deal with a wide variety of tasks, meaning no 2 days will be the same.

  • Good standard of general education
  • NVQ Business Admin Level 3 or working towards within agreed time scale

Desirable

  • ECDL or equivalent

Experience

Essential

  • Knowledge of information technology packages including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Experience of setting up and maintaining office systems
  • Appropriate and significant amount of administrative experience
  • Proven teamwork experience

Desirable

  • Experience of using electronic systems e.g. Rio, Integra, E-roster
  • Previous NHS Experience
