HCA for Surgical Wards (4A & 7B)

Job summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Health Care Assistants with a genuine passion for caring to join our dedicated team.

Ward 4A is a busy and fast paced 29 bedded unit providing care for a mixture of Gastroenterology and Surgical patients.

Ward 7B is a 37 bedded ward caring for pre and postoperative patients within Trauma, Orthopaedics, and Surgery.

As a Health Care Assistant, you will be an essential part of a large multidisciplinary team, delivering high quality fundamental care under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will support patients in achieving agreed goals and contribute to a positive, patient centred experience.

We are looking for individuals with excellent communication skills who are eager to learn, develop, and embrace new challenges as our services continue to evolve.

Main duties of the job

Experience of working in a care setting would be advantageous but all necessary skills training, professional updates and mandatory training as appropriate to the post will be provided.Full details of duties can be found in the job description.There will be an expectation of a flexible approach to shifts patterns with a commitment to participate in the on call service after appropriate training.Please be advised - this vacancy may close early if we reach a sufficient amount of applications.
