Podiatry Booking Office Administrator

Job summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and committed administrator to join our booking office for Podiatry at Chard Community Hospital.
This is a busy role with a high volume of calls and would suit a customer care driven individual who is able to use their initiative and can cope with the demands of the service and work effectively as team member.

Main duties of the job
As a Booking Office Administrator, you'll become an integral member of the Podiatry Team providing effective administrative support to the Service.
The role is busy and varied and we are looking for someone who will be able to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication skills.
The majority of the role is telephone based and the team are the 1st point of contact for patients accessing Podiatry, so you'll need to have excellent telephone skills as well as face to face communication skills and on occasion be able to deal with difficult conversations. The role will support community and acute podiatry.
