Dietician - CAMHS Eating Disorder Service

Job summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Dietitian (Band 7) to join our Children's Eating Disorder Service (CEDS). This is a countywide role working Monday--Friday, 9am--5pm, supporting children and young people with eating disorders and eating related difficulties.

CEDS is a developing and ambitious service with a clear commitment to innovation and continuous improvement. Our most recent service development includes the opening of two new intensive treatment houses, expanding our ability to deliver high quality, accessible and community based care.

Main duties of the job

  • Provide specialist dietetic assessment, formulation and evidence based interventions for children and young people with eating disorders.
  • Lead on the development and monitoring of nutritional rehabilitation plans and bespoke meal plans.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary colleagues to ensure coordinated, holistic and person centred care.
  • Offer clinical expertise, consultation and guidance to team members and partner services.
  • Manage a complex caseload and contribute to clinical decisionmaking within case discussions and MDT meetings.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation within the Electronic Patient Record system.
  • Support junior colleagues through supervision, teaching and development of specialist dietetic competencies.
  • Travel across the county as required to support young people and families (business mileage arrangements in place).
