We're looking for a Band 6 Safeguarding Professional to join the Somerset NHS Foundation Trust Safeguarding Advisory Service.
You'll be part of our multi-professional duty team, the central hub for safeguarding advice and guidance across the Trust. This is your chance to influence best practice and protect those most at risk.
We'll provide a tailored induction, ongoing training, and support to help you thrive in this vital role. Based at County Hall, Taunton, you'll also work across Musgrove Park Hospital, Yeovil District Hospital, and community venues across Somerset.
Main duties of the job
*Deliver expert advice, support, and supervision to colleagues across acute and community services.
*Respond to safeguarding concerns and provide consultation and guidance.
*Work collaboratively with Trust teams and external agencies to safeguard adults and children.
*Champion the 'Think Family' and 'Making Safeguarding Personal' approach in everything you do.

- *Evidence of managing complex safeguarding cases.
- *Experience of multi-agency working
- *Competence in documentation, presentation and IT skills

- *Awareness and working knowledge of current safeguarding legislation, guidelines and best practice.
- *Facilitating supervision to colleagues or other professionals
- *Experience of working across the life-span
