Nursing Associate

Job summary

We are looking for a nursing associate to join our team in Endoscopy.

The role of the Nursing Associate is to work with the multi professional team and the Registered Nurse to assess, plan, organise and deliver clinical care in line with service and patient needs, as agreed with supervising clinicians.

The role will entail working within a specialist area providing direct nursing care and support for patients undergoing endoscopic investigations and treatment within Musgrove Park Hospital and Bridgwater Community Hospital. The expectation is for staff to work flexibly between these units to meet the needs of the service

Main duties of the job

To provide healthcare to patients as delegated by the Registered Nurse. This care will involve physical care and activities which promote health and wellbeing for patientsTo work as part of a team, delivering health care that focus on the direct needs of the patientTo work autonomously within the clearly defined boundaries of their role and carry out specific clinical tasks and responsibilities as delegated by the registered nurse
