The closing date is 01 February 2026

Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to join our CAMHS West team as an Operational Service Manager. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping and delivering high-quality mental health services for children and young people across Somerset. You will provide operational leadership and strategic oversight, ensuring that services are safe, effective, and responsive to the needs of our communities.

The post holder will work closely with the CAMHS Service Manager to drive service improvement, modernisation, and innovation. You will lead on workforce planning, performance management, and resource allocation, ensuring that our teams are supported to deliver outstanding care. This role requires a strong commitment to collaborative working, both within CAMHS and with external partners such as social care, education, and voluntary organisations.
