Job summary
We are looking for an organised and proactive Medical Secretary to join our Haematology team at The Beacon Centre. This role is key to ensuring smooth patient pathways and supporting our clinical team in delivering excellent care.
Main duties of the job
As a Medical Secretary, you will:
- Provide a comprehensive PA/secretarial service to the Haematology team.
- Supervise and lead the administrative team, ensuring high standards and efficient workflows.
- Act as the main point of contact for the specialty, handling queries from clinicians, GPs, patients, and internal teams.
- Organise outpatient clinics, consultant diaries, meetings, and departmental rotas.
- Support audits, research, and data reporting as required.
