Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced band 5 chemotherapy (SACT) nurse to join our dedicated Oncology and Haematology Day Unit team (based in the Beacon Day Unit at Musgrove Park Hospital). We are a nurse led unit with excellent patient feedback, providing specialist care to oncology and haematology patients undergoing systemic anti cancer treatments (SACT). We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate nurse to complement our team to help drive forward our services. We operate Monday to Friday (some bank holidays) and offer clinical supervision and professional development. If you have the skills and experience we are looking for, come and be part of our committed team delivering exceptional patient care. Informal visits or chats are encouraged.
SACT/Chemotherapy experience is not necessary and these skills can be taught, you will be supported to complete the UKONS SACT passport, and will be expected in time to undertake an accredited SACT module as part of this role.
