We are working collaboratively across Somerset to deliver whole pathway integration for the high-risk foot and improving patient access to the right care, by the right person, at the right time. The Podiatry Service in Somerset provides assessment, diagnosis, treatment and advice, for a range of specialisms including diabetes, wound care, musculo skeletal biomechanics and nail surgery.
We have FANTASTIC opportunities for motivated established or developing Podiatrists who are passionate about the consistent delivery of evidence-based clinical management of podiatric conditions with a focus on developing clinical expertise in high-risk wound care.
You will be part of a community team of podiatrists, providing care across 12 clinics centred around 4 centres of excellence.
You will be expected to be flexible to meet the needs of the service. In return we will offer an exciting role within a supportive team with flexible working arrangements.
Main duties of the job
Due to the need to travel to different locations, it is essential that the post holder has a full UK drivers licence drive with access to their own vehicle and appropriate insurance.
The service operates 5 days a week (Monday to Friday) between 8.30am and 5.00pm.
The service has four main hubs:
West -- Bridgwater & Taunton
South - Yeovil
East -- Glastonbury
