Job summary
Are you an experienced Dietitian looking for a Band 6 post to develop your skills in specialist clinical care as well as in supervision/leadership and service improvement?
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Dietitian to help provide a dietetic service to gastroenterology inpatients and critical care based at Yeovil District Hospital. You will also gain dietetic experience in eating disorders with support from our Band 7 Specialist Dietitians.

Main duties of the job
You will provide a dietetic service to gastroenterology inpatients and Critical Care, under the support and supervision of a Band 7 Specialist Dietitian. This will involve not just providing the clinical care but also taking responsibility for areas of service improvement across these designated wards. You will also deliver regular outpatient clinics within this specialist area.
What are we looking for?
Ideally, you'll have varied post-graduate experience, covering a range of specialties and have specific experience in working with patients with gastroenterological conditions. Dietetic experience of critical care is desirable, but not essential as we will support you with any training needs.
You need to be registered as a Dietitian with the Health and Care Professions Council and ideally have NHS experience.
