We're seeking a passionate and proactive Bank Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our welcoming team based in Taunton. As a valued member of our Community Rehabilitation Service, you'll support patients in their homes and local settings, helping them regain independence and improve quality of life. You'll work collaboratively with patients to set and achieve meaningful goals.

  • Degree/diploma level education
  • Registration by the Health Professions Council (UK) as an Occupational Therapist
  • Evidence of CPD maintained in a portfolio including attendance at relevant post grad courses

Desirable

  • Member of Royal College of Occupational Therapists

Experience

Essential

  • * Proven post graduate experience with extensive
  • clinical experience relevant to the post.
  • * Experience of a wide range of clinical
  • rehabilitation areas of practice to include elderly
  • patients with complex multi-pathology,
  • neurological, orthopaedics etc
  • * Experience of working as part of a
  • multidisciplinary team
  • * Experience in a Community Hospital setting
  • * Experience of lone working
  • * Experience of service development and review
  • * Knowledge of clinical governance
