Job summary

Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist passionate about community-based rehabilitation? We are looking for a dedicated Bank Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our friendly and dynamic team in Minehead, West Somerset.

As part of the Community Rehabilitation Service, you will play a vital role in supporting patients within their own communities. Our focus is on helping individuals regain lost skills, improve independence, and enhance overall wellbeing. We empower our patients to make meaningful, lasting changes by working collaboratively to achieve their personal goals.

  • Degree/diploma level education
  • Registration by the Health Professions Council (UK) as an Occupational Therapist
  • Evidence of CPD maintained in a portfolio including attendance at relevant post grad courses

Desirable

  • Member of Royal College of Occupational Therapists

Experience

Essential

  • * Proven post graduate experience with extensive
  • clinical experience relevant to the post.
  • * Experience of a wide range of clinical
  • rehabilitation areas of practice to include elderly
  • patients with complex multi-pathology,
  • neurological, orthopaedics etc
  • * Experience of working as part of a
  • multidisciplinary team
  • * Experience in a Community Hospital setting
  • * Experience of lone working
  • * Experience of service development and review
  • * Knowledge of clinical governance
