Job summary
We're looking for an organised and proactive team member to join our friendly Endoscopy administration team, supporting both Musgrove Park Hospital (MPH) and Bridgwater Community Hospital (BCH).
In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring patients are efficiently booked for their procedures, helping our services run smoothly and making a real difference to patient care. You'll work closely with the Lead Waiting List Co-ordinator and management team, contributing to decisions that promote best practice and improve the patient experience.
As our services grow and develop, you'll bring flexibility, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage a variety of administrative tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Main duties of the job
Deal with day-to-day correspondence, initiating appropriate responses to provide patients, staff and other parties with required information in a friendly and professional manner.
Receive and call patients to book and move endoscopy procedures.
Liaise with appropriate personnel in the team to gather and co-ordinate patient information so this is accessible in a timely manner.
Process 2WW, urgent, routine and surveillance referrals and arrange appropriate appointments.
Participate in team and Trust meetings as requested.
