What we're looking for
Strong leadership and management skills with significant experience in endoscopy or a related clinical field.
A passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and drive improvements in patient care.
A track record of ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and a commitment to achieving JAG accreditation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Main duties of the job
You'll will be supported by key members of the Directorate Operational Team and will provide clinical leadership to ensure the delivery of high quality services to all services users in accordance with agreed objective's, targets, quality standards, controls and resource constraints.
You'll work in collaboration with the management team, clinical leads, and the band 7 nurse managers in Musgrove Park, Bridgwater Hospital and Yeovil hospital to provide excellent standards of care for endoscopy across the county.
You'll take delegated responsibility for ensuring compliance with national / regulatory standards for effective complaints and patient experience management and all activities related to patient experience. To lead on JAG assessment for all units in the county.
