Are you recently qualified as a Dietitian or due to qualify, or are you wishing to consolidate your experience before moving onto a more specialised role?
We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 Dietitian to join our team based at Yeovil District Hospital.
You will be joining the Dietetic Team to deliver a dietetic service to a range of adult wards in the acute hospital setting which may include stroke, medicine, surgery, gastroenterology and oncology. In addition, you will run a general outpatient clinic. As we are an integrated service, there are opportunities to work across both acute and community settings.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Dietitian with excellent communication and team working skills. You will need to be HCPC registered as a Dietitian or applying for HCPC registration.
If you are a final year Student Dietitian, we would also welcome your application. Tailored employment options are available that will allow you to commence in post as a Band 4 Dietetic Assistant Practitioner until you receive your HCPC registration.

Across the wider Dietetic Department, opportunities are also available to gain experience with Specialist Dietitians in areas such as Parenteral Nutrition, Critical Care, Diabetes, Paediatrics, Home Enteral Tube Feeding, Weight Management and Bariatrics.
You will have access to regular supervision and have opportunities to undertake continuing professional development through work shadowing, competency frameworks and courses as identified by your training needs and objectives.
