Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Tissue Viability Administrator. The post holder will be required to provide comprehensive and efficient administrative support to the Tissue Viability Administrative Service Trust wide, this will require working across the various locations of South Petherton Hospital, Musgrove Park Hospital and Yeovil District Hospital.
Somerset NHS Foundation Trust is formed from recent mergers of Musgrove Park Hospital, Yeovil District Hospital and Somerset Partnership (Community Trust); this is therefore a great time to join the specialism, as we look to transform the tissue viability provision across the healthcare system within Somerset.
The successful candidate will require experience of working in a healthcare environment within Somerset and the digital systems currently used.
Main duties of the job
This includes:
- Supporting the daily running of the service via processing of service referrals and monitoring of the Team Inbox.
- The arrangement and organisation of meetings.
- Minuting team level meetings in a timely and effective manner.
- Comprehensive correspondence, diary and document management.
- Management of databases for the purpose of audit.
- Dealing with telephone enquiries from service users and colleagues.
- Ordering and receipting of supplies, as required.
- Regular stock checks.
- Organising and prioritising their own workload.
- Work independently and as a part of a team.
- Working closely with clinical team members to deliver co-ordinated service support across the Trust.
- To work within Somerset NHS Foundation Trust Values and core standards whilst maintaining a service to colleagues and service users.
- Work flexibly across Community and Acute based teams.
