We are seeking a motivated and skilled Research Nurse/Practitioner Team Leader to lead and manage a team delivering a diverse and high-quality clinical trials portfolio. Based within the Corporate Service Group, you will be instrumental in driving forward clinical research across multiple sites. We have 2 positions available, one based at Musgrove Park Hospital, and one in Yeovil District Hospital.
Main duties of the job
Somerset NHS Foundation Trust supports over 350 research studies at any one time and is committed to developing research-active healthcare environments that improve care and outcomes. This is a fantastic opportunity to influence innovation and lead research delivery in a progressive NHS organisation.
As Team Leader you'll:
- Lead the delivery and performance of a portfolio of clinical research studies.
- Provide expert guidance on study setup, patient recruitment, and protocol adherence.
- Ensure research governance compliance, patient safety, and data integrity.
- Act as a clinical role model and provide line management, training, and mentorship to the research delivery team.
- Collaborate with Principal Investigators, sponsors, CRN Southwest Peninsula, and wider clinical teams.
