Catering Assistant

Job summary

An opportunity has arisen to work in the catering main kitchen situated at our Musgrove Park Hospital site. The kitchen is operational 7 days a week 365 days a year, between 6.00am - 6.00pm. The candidate needs to be a team player who has a flexible approach .Shifts vary between 6.00am - 6.00pm and may include weekends and will some bank holidays.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will pick and deliver patient meals to the ward and load the ward regen trollies with meals and any other provisions ordered. To provide and maintain a safe, clean ,tidy environment. Follow and record cleaning tasks on our electronic schedule. Assist with basic food preparation. Answer telephone and resolve general enquires. Set up trollies for functions and occasionally serve at functions .
