Job summary
Education support workers are an integral part of the LARCH+ Team and have direct contact with registered nurses, carers and staff within the care sector whilst providing high quality training and education to enable residents access to the best quality of care. Education support workers will develop additional skills and knowledge based on the evolving work of the LARCH + team. They will support the LARCH registered professionals to provide training and education, so helping to minimise hospital admissions and making referrals to appropriate teams across the wider health care setting.
The Education support worker will support and review training packages with the LARCH registered practitioner, developing new training packages appropriate for the care sector. The Education support worker will work with care providers to plan and coordinate training to enable their staff to gain a better knowledge base to provide improved and effective care.
An Education support worker practices under the supervision of a registered practitioner in accordance with Trust Policy, protocols and standard operating procedures.
Main duties of the job
Experience of working in the care sector would be advantageous but all necessary skills training, professional updates and mandatory training as appropriate to the post will be provided.

There will be an expectation to work countywide with working hours working between the hours of 8-5 Monday to Friday, candidates must have access to a car with business insurance.
