Job summary
Are you an experienced mental health professional with a passion for supporting young people and their families? We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our Community CAMHS team in the East of the county.
This is a rewarding opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to children and adolescents experiencing mental health challenges, while also contributing to the leadership and development of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team.
We are looking for a practitioner who is confident working in a fast-paced environment, has strong clinical leadership skills, and is committed to delivering compassionate, young person-centred care.
A full UK driving licence, access to your own vehicle, and appropriate business insurance are essential for this role.
Main duties of the job
Deliver comprehensive assessments, evidence-based treatments, and psychosocial interventions to young people referred to the service
Provide consultation, advice, and clinical input to colleagues across the team
Ensure that families and carers are actively supported, informed, and involved in the care process
Take a proactive role in managing clinical risk and promoting a collaborative, recovery-focused approach
Contribute to the ongoing development of service systems and processes that improve care delivery
Provide clinical supervision and support to team members and participate in service evaluation and development
Liaise effectively with a broad network of internal and external agencies
