Job summary
We are seeking to recruit for a Personal Assistant who has a passion for high quality to work within a very busy Emergency Department. This is a part time role of 22.5 hours ideally worked over 3 or 4 days negotiable.
You'll provide comprehensive support to the Senior Nursing Team. We are looking for someone who can use their own initiative, work well with other people, be able to work on their own as well as being able to approach others for support. You would need to be able to cope under pressure as there are regularly very tight deadlines. The right candidate will have excellent IT and typing skills.If you think that you are the right person for the job, we would love to hear from you.
Main duties of the job
Communicate colleagues, internal and external
Deal with day to day correspondence,
Receive telephone calls, reviewing , taking appropriate action where necessary. Prioritise own work efficiently and effectively, highlighting any issues to the appropriate senior.
Co-Ordinate dates, venues, paperwork for meetings e.g. investigations, peer reviews
Organisation of appraisals for the various staff in a timely manner.
Take notes at staff Disciplinary Meetings and assist the senior nursing team with typing of investigation reports
Assist with management of appointment, changes and termination forms
Support and ensure Interview packs are available for internal interviews. Plus deal with daily queries as they arise.
