Job summary
Are you a registered nurse with a passion for digital innovation and clinical transformation? We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Nursing Information Officer to join our Digital Clinical Team. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of digitally-enabled change that enhances the way we deliver care to our patients.
This is a fixed term position ending 31 March 2026. The working pattern is typically Mon -- Fri, with a requirement to work out-of-hours (OOH) on an ad-hoc basis.
Main duties of the job
As a Nursing Information Officer, you'll play a key role in supporting both the digital and operational clinical teams. You'll lead on a range of activities including staff and patient engagement, solution design, testing, piloting, auditing, training, and implementation of new digital tools and systems.
You'll act as a bridge between clinical staff and digital teams, ensuring that new systems and processes are safe, user-friendly, and deliver tangible benefits to patient care. Your clinical expertise will help shape digital solutions that meet the real-world needs of staff and patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support delivery of digital transformation and optimisation plans
- Engage with staff and patient groups to drive change
- Redesign and improve existing business and clinical processes
- Support pilots, audits, training, and implementation of digital tools
- Ensure clear communication between stakeholders at all levels
- Conduct one clinical shift per month to maintain up-to-date practice
- Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures and training material
- Work independently and manage multiple priorities across projects
