Job summary

We are looking to appoint health care support Assistant who is enthusiastic, motivated with a passion for caring to join our dedicated Team on level 10 within Paediatrics.

The Paediatric service covers 24 acute inpatient beds and Outpatients department

As a health care Assistant you would be an integral member of the team supporting and assisting trained nursing staff and other professionals in a safe way and within the competencies of the Health Care Assistant role, in the delivery of effective patient care on a daily basis for babies and children from 0-18yrs with a wide variety of acute/chronic and terminal physical and mental health problems.

Main duties of the job

Experience of working in a care setting would be advantageous but all necessary skills training, professional updates and mandatory training as appropriate to the post will be provided.

There will be an expectation of a flexible approach to shifts patterns with a commitment to participate in the on call service after appropriate training.
