Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Rota Co-Ordinator with a proven track record in delivering a high-quality service. You will be flexible in approach, tenacious, a good team player and have an eye for detail. Working closely with our Maternity Teams across Somerset, you will give assurance that all forms of leave and rotas are appropriately managed and are cost effective, reporting to our Inpatient Matrons at Yeovil and Taunton.
Main duties of the job
It is essential that the successful candidate can work well under pressure, always maintaining a pleasant and professional attitude. They will have excellent communication and inter-personal skills that enables them to liaise with the wider Maternity teams across each site. Experience in a Rota Coordinator role or a similar NHS role, with additional experience using Healthroster would be advantageous. They will manage Maternity rotas identifying gaps and providing cover, recording periods of leave and developing close working relationships with wider Midwifery Team and oversee Leave Management.
