Job summary
Working as part of the Fire Safety Team, the post holder will draw on their expertise as a Healthcare Fire Safety Trainer to ensure successful delivery of fire safety training courses. These will be in line with the Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order, Health Technical Memorandums and best practice guidance, to all levels of staff across the organisation and as part of any service level agreement that may be in place.

In summary this will include:
Contribute to the planning, delivery and monitoring of effective and appropriate fire safety courses for all staff working in the organisation, either on a Trust wide or bespoke basis. This includes Basic Fire Awareness, Level 2 Fire Safety Training, Fire Warden Training, Level 3 Fire Incident Response and Evacuation Training.
Responsibility for the day-to-day education and competency assessment process for all staff.
Contribute in providing a crucial source of information and support on fire safety across the organisation to ensure the Trust's standards for fire safety are met in line with national standards.
Undertaking fire safety audits, (in association with colleagues as appropriate) and providing feedback to colleagues.
