Job summary

Exmoor Ward is a General Medical ward.

The post holder will demonstrate a sound knowledge of leadership and managerial skills.

You will provide, demonstrate and maintain a high standard of professional nursing care and act as a professional role model.

You will demonstrate the ability to work within and lead a team. To supervise, nurture, counsel and develop the knowledge and skills of staff and maintain health and wellbeing of all staff under your management.

You will initiate/facilitate developments with the Matron in accordance with Trust Policies and Procedures. Through effective leadership you will ensure the clinical team delivers a safe, effective, responsive, caring and well-led service where compassion is embedded, and a positive patient experience is achieved.
