Job summary
The role of the nursing associate in the heart failure service is to be an accountable professional working within the limitations of the registration, while promoting health and wellbeing within the role and wider team. The applicant should be responsible for monitoring and providing patient care to a high quality while working within a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality care for patients. The individual should be able to contribute to patient care as part of the team.
Main duties of the job
Using the breadth of knowledge gained across various fields of nursing the Nursing Associate will be able to provide holistic and patient centred care to a high standard supporting patients in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings and be competent in a variety of clinical procedures. The Nursing Associate will work independently under the leadership and direction of the heart failure CNS team working within their scope of practice as a Nursing Associate.
