Job summary
Are you an analytical thinker with strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail? Join our dynamic team as an SCR Requirements Officer and play a key role in shaping the Somerset Cancer Register system.
Please note, this is a hybrid role with an element of office and home working (particularly during the induction phase). We are happy to consider flexible working options and can consider part-time hours (minimum 22.5 hours/7.5 x 3 days).
Anticipated interview date - Thursday 10th April.
Main duties of the job
As an SCR Requirements Officer, you will be responsible for identifying, documenting, and communicating system requirements based on national directives, customer feedback, and internal assessment. You'll work closely with customers, development teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that system changes meet operational needs and data quality standards.
Other duties:
- Gather, analyse, and document system requirements to support the development and improvement of SCR products.
- Work with national datasets and guidance to enhance data quality and compliance.
- Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and national bodies to ensure effective system implementation.
- Assist in testing system changes and support training teams in product updates.
- Present requirements, system updates, and new features to stakeholders.
- Analyse customer usage data to influence product development.
