Job summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Administrator to join our dynamic team. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a commitment to delivering the best possible service for young people and their families.
As a Team Administrator, you'll be at the heart of a fast-paced and dynamic team, juggling multiple tasks to keep everything running smoothly.
The CAMHS SPA and Early Intervention Team serves as the front door to child and adolescent mental health services in Somerset, meaning no two days are ever the same.
If you're passionate about making a difference in young people's lives, we'd love to hear from you!
You'll work alongside experienced clinicians, providing essential support to our external partners as they navigate the referral process for CAMHS.
Main duties of the job
You will need to work well individually, as part of a team and be able to work flexibly, contributing to the ongoing improvement and development of the SPA and Early Intervention Services. Previous experience of working in a mental health setting would be desirable but not essential. The Single Point of Access SPA and Early Intervention EI service has been co designed with Somerset CCG and the Local Authority to provide young people with expert help from one easy central point and is run by Somerset NHS Foundation Trust. The SPA and EI service aims to help young people before they need to access CAMHS, offering more support in the community, schools and online and by educating other people e.g. schools to help them. The SPA team will be responsible for all screening of referrals including signposting, offering information, telephone triage and where necessary face to face assessments to ascertain need.
