We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our FM Cleaning Team at Musgrove Park Hospital. We have full or part time roles available.

Main duties of the job

As a Cleaning Team Member, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all areas of the hospital are maintained to the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in line with National Standards of Cleanliness.

You will work across patient and non-patient areas, contributing to a safe and comfortable environment for everyone.

• Clean assigned areas to the highest standards following NHS cleaning protocols and infection control guidelines.
• Use appropriate cleaning equipment, materials, and chemicals in line with COSHH regulations and training provided.
• Support the team by responding to cleaning requirements, including urgent tasks.
• Communicate professionally with patients, staff, and visitors while maintaining privacy and dignity.
• Identify and report hazards or issues that could impact safety or cleanliness.
• Work flexibly as part of the cleaning response team, as required.
