System Support Analyst

Job summary

We are dedicated to delivering cutting-edge digital services that empower healthcare professionals and enhance patient care. We have an internal opportunity to join our team for a period of 12 months and play a pivotal role in maintaining and supporting the IT systems that underpin critical NHS services.

Main duties of the job

As a Systems Support Analyst, you will be part of the Digital Services team, providing second-line system administration and support to ensure the seamless operation of the Trust's IT systems. This role requires you to troubleshoot, resolve system issues, maintain data quality, and contribute to the development and enhancement of IT systems across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 2nd-line support for system enquiries, problems, and faults in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Administer and configure IT systems to support staff operations effectively.
  • Maintain and ensure data quality within electronic patient records and other systems.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and stakeholders to resolve queries and operational issues promptly.
  • Update and maintain the Systems Knowledge Base and run regular system reports.
  • Support the team by identifying and addressing data inaccuracies, including liaising with users to resolve issues.
  • Participate in out-of-hours on-call rota to ensure 24/7 support for clinical systems.
